1996 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Prototype

1996 Harley-Davidson FLU Jesse James Prototype Street Glide. I have spoken with Jesse James about this bike, and he personally confirmed that he did build it in the Paramount shop in the 90's and showed me pictures of the bike just as it was completed. According to the prior Mecum catalog for this motorcycle, it was presented as the actual prototype for later Street Glide-style builds and as the only bagger Jesse James built.

Mecum also cataloged it as a 1996 custom created for Samson Exhaust as a display bike, with later appearances in TV shows, corporate displays, paintings, advertisements, and catalogs. The look is exactly what makes this bike special: black and silver flame graphics carried across the fairing, tank, front fender, and saddlebags, a low solo seat, large polished custom wheels, dual front disc brakes, and a stance that still looks aggressive decades later.

The fairing is lettered "Jesse James 1996 Street Glide Prototype, " which says a lot before the bike is even started. Balance is due within 7 days by wire transfer or cash in person.
