1983 Harley-Davidson Touring

For Sale is a nice near 100% original 1983 Harley FXRT w/ original 80 engine, 5 speed transmission and frame. This is a nice example of a good start to a custom or restoration. Original numbers matching Title/ frame and engine. Motor is electric start ONLY.

Bike Runs and Drives great. Has original engine, trans frame. OEM dual disk front end. OEM hard saddle bags/ tourpak. Will need new tires to run and drive regularly (dryrotted).

OEM fuel tank w/ gauge cluster. Chrome Dual Exhaust (pitted and needs replaced for restored finish). 9 spoke mag 16 rear wheel.

9 Spoke mag 19 front wheel w/ dual disk. OEM painted tanks/ fenders/ bags. OEM Keihin butterfly carb w/ air cleaner. Good example of an original Shovelhead FXR setup. Isn't perfect by any means but very nice start to a classic custom/ restoration/ driver.

Paint is in good condition, but does have some small scratches and cracks in the clearcoat(see pics). Due to age and storage. Engine/ trim detailing has some scratches/ surface corrosion and chips in finish from age and sitting. Front/ rear tires need replaced due to dryrot.

Front and rear Brakes/ tires are in good working/ useable condition. Front fairing has some scuffs on the right side corner(see pics). Right side saddle bag is cracked in the front and needs the latch replaced. Bike has all original keys. Have running video if needed.

Clean/ Clear engine/ frame numbers matching harley title. Bike is located in Eagle, MI zip 48822. Refer to pictures for additional details/ information.
